Our Interactive Site of the Year is Speak Visual, a showcase site for NVIDIA built by Odopod. "Were honored to be recognized as one of the top interactive sites of the year," said Tim Barber, Founder and creative Director when we told him about being shortlisted. "It's really exciting to be recognized for the work we do, especially for a project that embraces creativity and technology in such a compelling way."

Why does he think the site hit such a nerve? "I think people liked it for its combination of unique content, community participation and polished production values," Tim says. "It's common to see two of these things together in a site, but not all three."

What advice would he give to anyone seeking to build something similar? "Take risks, experiment, prototype early and often and collaborate happily," he replies. "The success of this project was driven by the strength of a solid team."
