Account Director

Relationship Builders

Account Directors establish, maintain and grow trusted relationships with our clients. They are ultimately responsible for client satisfaction and the integrity of the services we provide. Passionate about digital, they demonstrate a thorough understanding of the digital landscape and how it is affecting our clients’businesses. Furthermore, they own all aspects of the client relationship and can easily jump from strategic conversations to financial forecasting and modeling. 

Fierce Collaborators

At Odopod, Account Directors work with teams to deliver amazing work on time and on budget. They are an essential part of project success, actively participating in conversations internally and externally. Account Directors work closely with Producers and provide regular updates to the Executive Team regarding the status of individual accounts.

Effective Networkers

Establishing new business is essential. Account Directors proactively engage new and established clients, creating opportunities to develop lasting relationships. They attend relevant networking events regularly in order to represent the Odopod team. 

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain trusted relationships with key decision-makers in client organization, serving as the primary point of contact for all account-related activities
  • Foster valued relationships between clients and team members
  • Work closely with and support Producers on specific accounts
  • Proactively engage clients with innovative ideas and communicate these concepts as actionable, compelling insights
  • Develop relationships with client influencer contacts and prospective customers through regular networking and relationship-building activities
  • Participate in clients’planning initiatives, and inject Odopod into the process
  • Forecast account plans and roadmap to effectively manage P&L through a combination of existing business and new client opportunities
  • Regularly communicate account progress, including opportunities, client satisfaction, budget vs. actual, and pipeline to Executive Team
  • Support new business efforts, with a focus on making new clients aware and excited about the full breadth of Odopod’s offerings
  • Have a thorough understanding of the digital landscape and how it is affecting our clients’businesses
  • Create account plans that generate measurable results for our clients

Qualifications

  • 7 to 10 years of experience in an agency environment, with digital agency experience highly preferred
  • Proven negotiation skills, experience successfully closing multi-million dollar contracts
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategy and implementation tactics
  • Experience forecasting and managing client P&Ls
  • Experience growing and managing project teams of 4+ people
  • Track record of developing and maintaining senior-level client relationships
  • Ability to collaborate with both external and internal teams
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Driven to act as an internal and external spokesperson for the company
  • Understand and work within project parameters: client goals and requirements, internal goals, usability, technical constraints, as well as budget and schedule
