Phones with Attitude

Their Flash plug-in is the most ubiquitous technology on the Web. Adobe envisions Flash everywhere: on your PC, PDA, interactive television, and most importantly your mobile phone. You'll be happy they do.

Macromedia (now Adobe) asked Odopod to prototype Flash's potential for multimedia applications and entertainment experiences on Nokia's next-generation mobile phones.

We began with an audit of the phone's display, memory, and processing capabilities. Then we created a set of prototypical applications designed to demonstrate a wide range of capabilities. Each prototype is integrated with the phone's soft and hard interfaces, accesses live web-based data, and shows off Flash's inherent strengths delivering animation and data compactness.

We were excited to push Flash to new places. We love being the first to experiment and try new things.
