Get Around Town

Routesy is a native iPhone application for San Francisco public transit riders. It displays real-time, location-aware arrival predictions for buses, streetcars and BART trains.

Odopod partnered with Routesy’s developer to redesign the application from the ground up. We designed Routesy's new Bookmark and BART features and redesigned all other existing interfaces.

The Bookmark interface is Routesy's most significant new feature. We designed bookmarks for Routesy's core customers, transit riders with regular stops, For these users, setting bookmarks optimizes Routesy into a single tap application. No other app delivers predictions as efficiently.

We also set out to create a beautiful new design that Routesy users would appreciate using daily. We designed a set of large and small route badges that, not only help users visually discriminate between routes, but are the app's unique visual signature.
