Understanding the Game Day Experience
We began our research at Candlestick Park, former home to the 49ers. One-on-one interviews, fan shadowing, and testing an early prototype of the app helped us understand all aspects of game day behavior — from wayfinding to fandom.
A Contextually Aware App
Long before the coin toss, fans can use the app to assist with parking, ticketing and navigating the 68,500-seat stadium.
Giving Fans What They Love
The app handles everything from exploring the stadium to ordering hot dogs to estimating wait times at food stands and restrooms.
Replays, Delivery & Directions
On-demand game replays — complete with multiple angles — keep fans engaged.
Fans can also enjoy in-seat food and drink delivery or express service at the concession stands.
The app accesses wifi and beacons throughout the stadium to help people get around faster.
The app also supports new in-stadium services, such as wayfinding and turn-by-turn directions.
